Sara Tavares was only 16 years old when she won two of Portugal’s most prestigious TV music contests. Born of second generation Cape Verdian immigrants, Sara grew up between two cultures. Initially known as a singer and composer of Gospel, Funk and Soul, she gradually incorporated more African music in her compositions. Her second album Mi Ma B, produced by Parisian Lokua Kanza, reached gold in Portugal and was a mix of African rhythms and melodic pop songs. After a long wait of five years, finally her new album Balance was released in February 2006. On this record, produced by Sara herself, she wrote and composed all the songs and played many of the instruments. Casually skipping between Portuguese, English, and various African tongues, Sara mixes the lulling dance rhythms of Cape Verde, Angola, and Brazil, as well as American R&B.

Protective Plastic Advisory! He's taken the concept of food processing to new heights... Gallagher will shower the audience with humor, pureed fruit salad and other food groups. Gallagher's trademark Sledge-O-Matic has helped vault the comedian to a place of adoration among all his fans who risk going home with melon pulp or lumps of cottage cheese in their hair just to see his act. More than flying bits of food, Gallagher's show incorporates intelligent social and political commentary as only he can deliver. Add to this a plethora of oddball props and you have the ingredients of one of the most calculating performers in the entertainment world.
Don’t be afraid to show up Pre-Gallagherized, wearing raincoats, goggles, sunglasses and umbrellas; the brave and lucky will score seats in the Sledge Zone or Death Rows.
**Please note: Patrons sitting in the Cabaret Section and first 10 rows will be subject to flying produce and other food items!!**

The legacy of The Frank Sinatra Songbook that only Frank Sinatra Jr. can share... the music and the memories. Frank Sinatra, Jr. has found himself catapulted into a position he never sought but must have surely contemplated. The songs of Sinatra need to be sung and Frank Jr. has inherited that honor. In song and style Frank Sinatra Jr. pays homage to his father, the singer and the music that defines the Sinatra legend by successfully touring the country performing “Sinatra Sings Sinatra.”
Wherever and whenever Frank Sinatra Jr. performs, he always keeps one thing in mind: “The people come to hear the music, so I always make sure the music is the real star of the show. I want the spotlight to shine on the individual musicians as well as the singer.”

The essence of Forgiven, the gripping third album by Texas trio Los Lonely Boys? “Familia! That’s what I think it represents. Three brothers. True American spirit – or Texican spirit.”
It’s as simple as that, says guitarist Henry Garza of the artistic and emotional breakthrough achieved by him and his siblings, bass player Jojo and drummer Ringo Jr. From the bluesy groove of the opening song “Heart Won’t Tell a Lie” through the yearning plea of the title song, the heartfelt faith of “Love Don’t Care About Me” and a rollicking version of the Steve Winwood/Spencer Davis Group chestnut “I’m a Man,” Los Lonely Boys has fully realized the potential shown as its first two studio albums, the multi-platinum 2003 debut Los Lonely Boys and 2006’s Sacred (a No. 2 arrival on the Billboard albums chart), made the Texas trio one of the most beloved and acclaimed new arrivals in rock. Each of the three reaches new levels in their playing and singing, Henry and Jojo alternating lead duties and all three joining in both the group musical dynamics and vocal harmonies that can only come with genetic bonds. And there are some new turns as well, including Ringo’s recording debut as a lead singer on the song “Superman.” Powered by passion and true brotherly love, Forgiven is in every note a rock ‘n’ roll classic.
