If it sounds like Aaron Lewis is long past defending his Country music pedigree, that would be a correct assessment. Lewis would prefer the music speak for itself and, with the release of SINNER, Lewis’ stunning Dot Records follow-up to his groundbreaking full-length solo debut The Road in 2012, any would-be detractors will be pretty much out of ammo.

 

Lewis, however, is not. SINNER blasts through today’s Country music doldrums like a shot of 100-proof whiskey, with the singer making zero compromises with either himself or the restrictions of a format that seems to have abandoned its rougher tendencies in favor of pop and ‘70s rock inclinations largely lacking in grit.

 

As the front man for one of modern rock’s most successful bands in Staind, Lewis admits his entre into the Country world has been met with a few mixed reactions, and a great deal of support.

Gavin DeGraw

Gavin DeGraw is a multi-platinum selling singer, performer and songwriter. He first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold over 1 million copies, earned platinum certification, and yielded three hit singles: “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title-track, “Chariot.” Gavin’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning Gavin his first Top 10 album. It spawned the hit singles “In Love With A Girl,” which Billboard dubbed “a rocking homerun,” and the gold-certified “We Belong Together.” In 2009, Gavin released Free as a gift to his die-hard fans clamoring for recorded versions of Gavin’s live favorites. His third studio album, Sweeter, was released in September 2011 and produced the smash single, “Not Over You,” co-written with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. The track reached #1 on the Hot AC charts, was a top 10 hit on Top 40, and was certified double platinum.

Mandel’s versatile career has encompassed virtually all aspects of the entertainment spectrum, including television, film and stage. From his work on the Emmy-Award winning St. Elsewhere to the international animated children’s series Bobby’s World, Howie has become a mainstay of the American comedy scene. Howie has done countless comedy specials both on cable and network television. He has also hosted his own syndicated talk show, The Howie Mandel Show, and continues to be a mainstay on the talk-show circuit. Howie also continues to perform as many as 200 concerts a year throughout the US and Canada. He currently serves as a judge on NBC's hit summer talent competition series, America's Got Talent, now in its 11th season with this being Mandel's seventh season on the series. Both artists would go gone to shape modern music with visionary approaches, but Stills and Collins’ short fiery union remains a transformative era for the two artists.

 

This summer, the two icons of folk will celebrate the golden anniversary of their formative time together. Their joint summer tour marks the first time ever Stills and Collins have been onstage together. The Turlock Community Theatre is currently searching for ALL kinds of talent to light up their stage on Saturday, January 27th, 2018, for their 1st Annual Turlock Community Theatre TAM-TAM Talent Show: A Live Talent Show Competition & Fundraiser.

 

All talents are welcome! This includes, but is not limited to: Singers, dancers, bands, acrobats, magicians, comedians, pets and their trainers, variety acts of all kinds, and anything else that you think will dazzle and delight the audience. We want to be entertained y’all, so BRING IT!

 

LIGHT UP THE STAGE!   We are looking for creativity at its finest, with the added twist of unexpected surprise and humor - ENTERTAIN THE PANTS OFF US! Whether it be a legitimate talent you have, or a stupid party trick you’ve been doing for years, or a comedic act that has people in stitches, or an avant-garde performance that’s edgy, or simply something that no one has ever seen before, the more unique the better. After all, it is the TCT TAM-TAM Talent Show!

Auditions:

*In order to be a candidate for our LIVE COMPETITION SHOW, we will most definitely need to see your Act in all of its gusto and glory! You may show us your talent in the following way:

 

You may submit a Recorded Video Demo of your performance using YouTube or a DVD. If you are using YouTube to submit, please provide the specific link to your video demo. Please make sure all members of your act are represented in the video, as well as any music, costumes, props, etc. that are part of your act. We want to see your performance in its entirety, as if you were performing on our stage for the LIVE COMPETITION SHOW, so include all elements of your act in your Video Demo!

 

**PLEASE NOTE: All Acts Need to be Between 45 Seconds & 2-Minutes in Length.

To say Tim Flannery is a baseball man is an understatement. And while he is beyond proud, and certainly humble, about being part of three World Series championship San Francisco Giants teams (2010, 2012, 2014), as well as his thirty plus years in the Major Leagues, Tim Flannery has always toured and played shows in support of his twelve records of original songs written through the years about the life of a road man.

 

Those who know “Flan,” as he’s come to be known, understand how much music has always meant to him. With over those thirty years traveling the country with baseball, one thing he always had with him was his guitar. And on a rainy night in St. Louis or after a day game in Cincinnati, you might have heard a man singing in the stairwells of the team hotel.

 

As a talented and prolific singer and songwriter, Flan’s music enjoys radio support across the planet, from the shores of Ireland to beach towns up and down the California coast. Routinely supported by his obscenely talented, all-star band, The Lunatic Fringe, Flan has also been joined onstage by the likes of Jackson Browne, Bruce Hornsby, Garth Brooks and Jimmy Buffett, and even Bob Weir and the boys. Tim has just been on a run of shows as a duo with the great Jerry Jeff Walker, in support of his new release " Last Of The Old Dogs". With a voice as smooth as Kentucky bourbon and heart worn on both sleeves, Flan’s concerts ebb and flow with brilliant melodies, soaring harmonies and themes of love, travel and connecting with the Great Spirit. And of course, stories and songs of love, compassion, and the game he loves.
